About Us
Karen Evans started up the practice in 2005 and Annelies joined the company in 2007. Karen is a qualified Chartered Physiotherapist in both the veterinary and medical fields. Karen has a special interest in treating and managing elite equine athletes, especially event horses and event riders.
Karen is a keen horse-woman with experience of owning, caring for, training and (lightly!) competing horses.
The title “animal physiotherapist” is NOT fully protected, so for assurance of quality and professionalism ALWAYS choose a “chartered physiotherapist.”

Physiotherapy can help a variety of problems including back pain, neck pain, arthritis, strains and sprains, post-operative rehabilitation and sports performance problems. It can help a wide range of people with any aches and pains. See our “Rider Physio” page for more information.
Horses and dogs can suffer with similar problems, which afflict humans, but they are much better at hiding their pain, as they can’t tell us what is wrong. See our “Animal Physiotherapy” page for more information.
Karen carries out an initial assessment of a horses injuries before treatment
