Human Physiotherapy
Karen is very experienced in treating a variety of conditions including back and neck pain, arthritis and sports performance or injury problems, and she has experience of working with athletes at the London Marathon.
Karen is trained to a high level in the use of soft tissue and joint techniques and also uses a range of electrotherapy machines when appropriate. She is also registered with AXA PPP.
Karen completed a three year degree course at Coventry University to become a Chartered Physiotherapist. She then worked at Warwick Hospital as a musculo-skeletal physiotherapist for three years. Here, she gained valuable experience as a Senior Physiotherapist working alongside Orthopaedic Consultants in the A+E department. She also treated a variety of patients in a busy out-patients department, dealing with a wide range of problems including aches, strains, sprains, arthritis, fractures and post-operative cases. Karen was in a team of physiotherapists who lead post-operative rehabilitation following cruciate ligament surgery.
Karen has completed post-graduate study in The McKenzie approach to neck and back pain management and is very experienced in treating patients with related problems.

£45-50 an hour plus travel costs
(New assessments including treatment, last approximately an hour, and follow-up treatments last approximately 45 mins. Treatment costs vary according to the problem and its response to treatment).
Treatment costs may be re-claimed if you have valid health insurance.
