Kelly Appleby
Kelly left a career as a classical musician to pursue her passion for improving the physical health of animals. She completed a Level 3 qualification in Equine Sports Massage before gaining a PgDip in Equine Physiotherapy.
More recently Kelly has completed her Masters (MSc) in McTimoney Animal Chiropractic, treating both dogs and horses (this does not imply that Kelly is a human chiropractor, but a specialist in animal chiropractics). These combined qualifications allow Kelly to approach each animal with a holistic eye, using a variety of techniques to achieve a positive outcome. Kelly also rides for racehorse trainer Michael Blake and works alongside Sharon Blake in rehoming ex-racehorses from trainers all across the country. Kelly has a retired thoroughbred called Roxy and a youngster fresh off the track named ‘Good Old Winnie’ who she hopes to compete in the future.
